While working in the animal health industry, Russ Paulson, discovered that many companies were not sufficiently addressing digestive health needs in animals. With such an integral piece missing, he set out to improve the health and wellbeing of all animals through comprehensive care.

Paulson became aware of a company that not only aligned with his inherent values about animals, but also his family values. Equerry’s, a company that had been in business for nearly 30 years and had built their success on creating unique and innovative products, became his home. After talking with the owner and discovering that their science-based nutritional philosophies aligned, he went to work for them. As fate would have it, he not only worked for them, but he eventually purchased their company.
